Arctic Monkeys - Seen more times than I can remember, from pubs in Sheffield circa 2004 to headlining Glastonbury and pretty much every size venue in between.

Guns n Roses - Saw them at Leeds 02 when it was Axl, some session guys and a lad with a KFC bucket on his head. Not seen them since reforming, had tickets to the original Spurs show but couldn't make the rescheduled date.

Reg - Saw him play Walsall FC in 2015, seeing him again at the O2 in April.

None. Wouldn't pay their prices to see any of them in their own shows. Excited to see Elton as a greatest hits show I would expect to be pretty good but not good enough to pay the price for his own show.

I saw Slash in 2010 and that satisfied any childhood memories of GnR that I would ever have wanted to relive.

AM are one of those bands that I quite like but I just don't think their last 2 albums are festival material and it's hard for me to imagine that Glastonbury full line up wouldn't come up with something that I would be more enthused about.

BTW you can't actually choose the all/none option in the poll.

To be fair Elton at the O2 in the upper tier was around the £45-50 mark IIRC.

I looked at Manchester and there wasn't anything that cheap and when going to a gig you have to factor in travel, car parking costs etc on top. I'll be honest I rarely pay above £40 for a gig anyway. Usually only go above for acts I really love and Elton is a greatest hits artist for me rather than being someone I really love. It's great that I get to tick off artists like that at Glastonbury though.

Just checked - it was £51.25 after fees.

Although it does help that I live about a 15 minute bus journey away from the O2.

Seen AM twice, GnR three times and Elton three times, with a fourth due in April (his long delayed "farewell show in London - we have had tickets for about four years!)

I loved GnR as a kid and never thought I would see the day when Axl, Slash and Duff share the stage again. I feel that I owe it to my younger self to see them again. The show in 2017 at the London Stadium was the best stadium show I have ever seen. The crowd was amazing, Axl sounded good (to the surprise of everyone) and the band was tight. Genuinely brilliant. A year later I saw them at Download and they were on time, again, and it was really fun, although Axls voice was slightly worse than 2017. Last time was at the Spurs stadium last year. They were late but the venue was a mess in terms of getting in. It started shakily but by the end it was another great stadium show. In short, trust that it will be a one off, great fun sing along in the field and everyone will have a good time. They are a slick band these days.

Elton - well, I am going for the moment, really. If it wasn't his last ever UK show I would probably head elsewhere but that is only because I have seen him before and will do again in April. It will be a lovely way to round off the festival.

AM - Their latest setlists do not inspire me, the weakest of the headliners imo and I am hoping that Bon Iver, Rina Sawayama or The Prodigy are playing elsewhere at the same time.

Elton John in about 2001, my mate had a couple of tickets and his missus of the time bloody hated Elton so i got called up from the subs bench and given her ticket 😆 it was great, we went on the smash in london all day and then rocked up to Hyde Park just in time for it all to start. It was all seated and fairly staid, but we, ahem, weren't.

We were just behind Richard E Grant, who i'm sure we annoyed, but he remained polite and was a thoroughly friendly fella. Going to that gig actually prompted a bit of a surge in Elton interest for me at the time, i got Goodbye yellow brick road and Don't shoot me on the back of it, and they're on reasonably regular rotation in the motor (skipping candle in the wind obvs, cos thats a fucking dirge). Quite looking forward to bookending him by seeing him two decades later!

edit: googled it, it was july 2000. Thats twenty three years ago, good god i'm old

I assume that was lowest price though as one of my friends has paid about £90. Not saying he wouldn't be worth it or that he charges too much but he's not on my above £40 list.

I love Lizzo far more than Elton and wouldn't pay the £60 for her tickets. I was banking on a Glastonbury appearance and fingers crossed it looks like it has paid off.

My rules about prices enable me to see more gigs and I like to think support the artists that need it most. I don't think Elton needs my money as much.

Yeah it's way up in the gods, but ultimately it's just a bloke sat behind a piano, it's not like you won't be able to hear.

AM 3 times, all fall firmly somewhere between meh and boooring.

GnR 0, owe my younger self to see them finally. Was a big fan when in early teens, never listened much to them since. Will be a great songalong regardless.

Elton 0. Never a huge fan, wouldn't buy a ticket, but this will be a perfect way to end the festival.

Seen AM many times, mainly around the first two albums.  Not a massive fan of their last two albums but I enjoyed their set at RL last year so I’m up for giving them a go this year.

Never seen GnR or Elton, not massively bothered by either of them but everyone’s hype has convinced me Elton is going to be epic so I’ll probably be there.

AM-TITP 2006 (decent) and Manchester (Cricket ground) 2007 (band were OK, crowd was horrific)

GNR-never though Slash was great at Glastonbury in 2010

Elton-never

EDIT-I also saw AM at Leeds in 2009. Anyone who was there will understand why A) I’d forgot about it and B) I haven’t seen them since
