Wouldn't say I'm a fan of either to be honest. Fender decent live got a few good songs.   Werchter needs to attract a younger audience to sell tickets. Is that audience more interested in macca or fender? Which why I said booking, rather than talent.    Is your average festival attendee that interested in maccaroni or fender? I would say fender.     

Yep, albeit with some minor exceptions that are somewhat gate specific and not relevant in this case..

I think it’s 8pm on a Sunday that’s the last arrival as the staff stop doing the wristbanding. Otherwise it’s open  24 hours from gate opening

Once gates open I think they're 24/7 - or always have been previously.

Yep, if we’re now forking out big bucks to see these acts, we expect a good and slick show, whatever the genre.   Also, the ‘spontaneous’ ‘jam-laden’ Arctic Monkeys set last year was as dull as ditchwater
