Yeah they’re not 3rd or lower on other. Won’t be headlining another stage Vs their good friends. 
 

They’re defo pyramid, just depends if they’ve got the bump to sun (which wouldn’t surprise me hence it’ll be before their mates)

None of the dedicated electronic stages (Glade, Arcadia, SE corner, Silver Hayes) ever get a single act on the poster. The poster is just for the big, all-genre stages. The only electronic acts that make the poster are the ones big enough to break out of the electronic stages to the main stages.

So basically we are still waiting for any of the proper electronic stuff to be announced.

I really don't get Royal Blood, find them boring and repetitive.

Last time AM played I think I was at Courteeners before and missed start of them. Maybe similar this year. I am kind of happy that I am not arsed about a Sub as it gives me chance to explore in the dark a bit more.

this might well have been covered, but is the lineup poster this year a little thin on numbers ?  seems about 20-odd less than last year and about 10-15 less than 2019

Much smaller yeah, working theory is it's to do with a lot of big names to come being men and the lineup coming with a soft apology note about the headliners

Juice was her big breakout single. Good As Hell is probably her biggest singalong. Am I Ready (2 Be Loved) is a new banger. Boys and Better In Color are personal faves.

kelis is meant to be SH this year too i read somewhere.

but generally its only main stage dance acts on the big poster. shaggy / kelis aren't dance and might have asked to be on it perhaps i guess

Fever Ray is the singer of The Knife. Expect it to be weird af, but amazing at the same time.

 

And Yeah, Shaggy closed out The Gully stage in Solver Hayes in 2017.

Kelis was great in 2014, really hope not SH. I don’t know if this is elsewhere, but what others did the Guardian originally mention that have been dropped since - I know QOTSA was one

The area posters will obviously have more names and take the ones on the poster and place them somewhere. The next main poster probably has some of those acts along with artists that will come alone with the schedule release. Pyramid and Other names do not get announced before hand either unless some act says so. For now we have Wizkid and Lana as Other headliners.

Lizzo was great last time, had a blast. As for GnR, what can possibly go wrong? Personally I'm not arsed about how Axl sounds, it's all about Slash and Duff. Hopefully a shorter than 3 hours set to cut out some of the guff but I'm genuinely excited for it.

Since when do artists at Glasto get properly paid. If they got their regular fees it would be £450 a ticket if you were lucky. And Emily clearly stated they tried to keep the price increase as minimal as possible so it wouldnt have been as big of a shock as it clearly was back during T day. If you want the ticket cost = talent then its not the festival for you by a mile.

Watching the Manics on BBC4 now and assuming they’re headlining the Park one night then I’m right there. Early on the Other Stage or Pyramid playing 40 mins of a few oldies and some new singles to a sparse crowd of nostalgia seekers… not so much.
