What is your favorite discovery from the lineup?

I've been a passenger for a road trip this weekend so have had tons of time to listen to the lineup.

I'm Canadian so some of these may be household names for you, but I've loved Maneskin and Manic Street Preachers and had never heard of either of them before the lineup drop.

Nice topic!

Maneskin won eurovision 2021, were unheard of before then here. Manics a heritage welsh indie act, headlined Reading back in the day etc

Can't believe anyone has never heard of Manics!

Weyes Blood is my choice. Had my playlist on all weekend and everytime I have checked my phone due to loving a song a lot, it has been by Weyes Blood. Are we thinking late Park stage?

I doubt they are big in canada 😂

didn't they just do a joint tour in the usa with someone (quick google: suede)

I'm 40, wife hadn't heard of them either and we are going with another friend in his 40s and he wasn't familiar with them either.

Nope. Worth investigating?

Yeah. Their live shows were insane when they actually toured which was few and far between. The first Fever Ray tour in 2009 was incredible also. But overall The Knife were a big influence on a lot of swedish acts that have come up since the mid 2000's.

No brand new discoveries for me so far, but I've really been enjoying doing some catalog deep-dives for artists who I was only a casual fan of.

Kelis has a deep well of bangers. Still can't get on board with the new Sudan Archives but remembering how much I love her previous album Athena.  I've ordered Simon Price's Manics biography and am moving into obsessive mode.
