Can't remember which year it was that I saw her. It was somewhere in SH, in an indoor venue, on Thursday.

It was the Chase and Status WH headliner year.

The year I saw Kelis was somewhere in Silver Hayes (may still have been Dance Village) on a Thursday. The Chase and Status reference was to help folks think of the year.

I was referring to C&S being on WH - confusion is they didn't headline - but that year was 2011.  Does that fit with roughly when you saw Kelis on a Thursday?

haha - trying too - struggling to find her on old clashfinders as a thursday act - Sonic's not been around that long and go back a bit further it starts being dance East & West (did that start '05? vaguely remember it being the 'new' thing first year I went)

You visited the WH Milkshake Stand (banging out Kelis) on you way to watch Chase & Status headline the other stage maybe?  Chase & Status headlined other in 2013, which was the first year of the Sonic Stage.  That explains everything I think...

Christine And The Queens and Slowthai are the big ones for me. Always thought both of them seemed kind of annoying (Christine's general vibe and Slowthai's "antics" both grated on me) but never listened to the music. Figured I'd give them both a go because they're on the line-up and absolutely loved both their newest albums.
