Hoping the hives might turn up at some point since they're supporting AM on their shows.

I will second this. I missed them when they opened the Other which was annoying, we got herded in as we tried to get into the festival from the East Campervans and missed all but Tick Tick Boom at the end.

Great live band.

Friday: Wizkid, Fred Again, Chvrches, Central Cee, Becky Hill

Saturday: Lana Del Rey, Alt-J, Hozier, Tom Grennan, Slowthai

Sunday: Queens of the Stone Age, The War on Drugs, Rina Sawayama, Pheonix, Stefflon Don

Nowhere near enough Indie Landfill.

I'm not sure if you're joking with this but there is definitely a distinct lack of those 00s indie bands on the lineup so far. AM, Hot Chip & Phoenix are potentially the closest if for nothing else than when they released their first album.

Would love some Bloc Party, Cribs, Wombats, TDCC, etc

They didn't open, BTW. They were second on...

Agreed though.

Beady Eye opened the Other in 2013, Hives followed them (with their ladder)

Nope. Didn't happen. Definitely not. And even if it did, we don't talk about it.

(I feel like I probably need to point out the sarcasm at this point)

Definitely not joking, and I love a bit of Indie Landfill!

Meant more that there's usually a good helping of that on the Other stage.

Any views on where the war on drugs will play? They play the O2 and big venues so they seem like an odd proposition as they are big in indie rock terms but aren't anywhere near crossing over. Similar to the national at about high violet but probably without even that profile. Feels like 3rd down on the other stage but really couldn't tell.
