MrHew
2016, post shift, shattered and grumpy from the mud I spent hours moving between Avalon Stage and Cafe finding some gems to watch and left the area in a much better mood. A few ales from the Avalon pub also helped 😀
FloorFiller
Could definitely be swayed by Mel C or Will Young if I had a gap in my schedule, but given they (especially the former) will undoubtedly have massive crowds, I’ll probably end up giving them a swerve after having to watch Sugababes from outside the tent last year. BookAngel
I'm pleased - I was planning to see Fisherman's Friends and I'm glad they're at Avalon rather than the acoustic stage as I was expecting. Also looking forward to the Damned and Laura Mvula.

They were daytime greenpeace stage or 1am truth stage in 2019, and then thursday williams green at about 8pm in 2022, so id put them around 6pm avalon - possibly on sunday for people who fancy an alternative to the pyramid tv snoozeathon slot? Boomtowner
Loads on there for me and my crowd, without anything that we must see. It tends to be our meeting spot anyway. Lottery Winners are an excellent live band and I'm sure Jake Shears will be rammed.
dotdash79
Expect to see Elvana to play a couple of slots around the festival
sedra
If you need a feel good pick me up session then The Lottery Winners are the band to see - always a great gig and one of hardest working bands currently. Never left one of their gigs not feeling happy - great entertainment and sing along songs. 😀
Avalon_Fields
I hope to see Vintage Trouble, their lively act will be fantastic in a smaller venue. It’s often the Avalon or West Holts for me, I reckon it’ll be mainly WH this time. Far From Saints maybe would checking out? Laura Mvula is good. The lineup is OK. becs94
Eh not much on there for me which is disappointing as I've had some good times at Avalon over the years. Sums up this year's line up as a whole for me but trying to view it as a positive as lots of time to spend exploring elsewhere without being stuck to a strict schedule! Selfishly, I hope not. Not going to miss Elton for anything but Melanie C is very high up on my to see list.
Cleetus
Vintage Trouble and the Damned for me depending on clashes. Both put on good shows.
maelzoid
Really don't get all the negative comments here. This line-up seems very much in line with what Avalon have done in the past, which to be fair is a little 'Radio 2'. I would have thought Will Young would be hitting big with the noughties pop fans who mobbed the scene for SugaBabes and McFly. Or am I wrong? Not my bag anyway. Nothing here that I'd miss Reg for, but maybe half a dozen acts that I'd like to catch. I like the area as well. Always seems very easy to get in and see acts and get to the bar. sisco
I know clashes will rule most out but id be happy to see Jamie Webster, Beans on Toast, Lissie, Lottery Winners, Mel C, Elvana and Far from Saints. Decent really

buddiepaul
Avalon was always a stage I looked for some alternative acts, though slightly disappointing for me this year. I will dip in and take on board some of the recommendations on here, but there is always something to see and do across the site, so not too bothered. Will definitely keep out of the way when some of the popular acts are on, as it is carnage when it is rammed.

Isn't your usual theme "not much for me...but I don't go there anyway" I'd only been noticing recently what a ray of positivity you'd become (not being sarcy btw) I think they've got some great stuff on.
