Camping shop

I've heard of Fat Frank's Camping Shop at other festivals who allows you to click and collect camping gear, but I don't see him at glastonbury on the website. We are flying in to glastonbury and have limited luggage. I think we have everything we need apart from sleeping bags. Is there anyone doing a similar service at glastonbury where we would pickup sleeping bags onsite. We would be able to bring them home as we would have extra space on the way home. Thanks

Yes there are camping gear stalls at Glastonbury- you can’t order in advance but they all have sleeping bags. It will be expensive and probably not great quality but will do the job- you can also pick up pillows, blankets and anything else you may have forgotten though obviously best to only get what you can take home.

They are a few around the site so best to go to one of the information tents as they will have a trader map so can let you know where to go.

Could get a sleeping bag sent to an amazon locker / stop by a camping shop between the airport and glasto

Where are you flying into? Surely a click and collect at a Decathlon or other camping shop would be cheaper for a better quality sleeping bag? Assuming there's one on the way, but normally airports are near big cities and they generally have shops somewhere.

Flying into Bristol and have a national express booked. I don't really know the area.. does anyone know if the airport has any shops nearly who may sell sleeping bags. We have maybe 2 hours between landing and the coach departure.

Airport is outside the city so think you might struggle ? unless the national express is from the city centre in which case you might be very tight for time

That's cutting it a bit fine, what happens if you plane is delayed? Can you take the next bus? Bristol isn't that far away from Glasto so i'm sure you'll get there if the worst comes to the worst. I guess the train is always an option. Hope it goes smoothly for you. If I had a ticket i'd offer for you to get sleeping bags delivered to mine and i'd take them and arrange collection but alas I don't 😞

The airport is miles from actual Bristol, and there are no shops of anykind in walking distance, let alone camping shops, sorry

I thought that may be the case.. not to worry I'll figure something out. I booked the national express directly from the airport to the festival so dont really want to have to go into the city. If i cant bring it with then I'll pickup on site.

Thanks for the info everyone
