Run out of reactions, but this is superb. Shame he won the court case and didn't give up as he threatened. 1

I used to be a fan, but hadn't listened to or seen him in a bit, and we ended up leaving his set at Shangri-La early last year. At least one of his many sets in 2022 would have been better served going to someone else (preferably an up-and-comer). This another great opinion. He'd be fine around a fire with a few drunken mates, but as a stage performer, just no. He played Shangri-La! Poor booking that.

Beerqueen
I've never got the appeal of the Brother's Bar either, or the cider bus but then I don't like cider! But it's just people hanging around a counter - I'd rather go to an actual bar that I can go in otherwise there's nothing much to shout about. G1T
The cider bus serves exceptionally good cider, some of the absolute best around regardless of the festival imho. Their hot mulled is an annual treat for me, and if you've not tried Burrow Hill's Somerset Pomona or Kingston Black drinks, I'd hugely recommend them. However, they're proper Somerset cider makers, which may not appeal to everyone if it's not their usual drink. Brothers is descended from Babycham. I'm absolutely convinced that a large part of their "mythos" at Glastonbury is down to the old days when they'd flog a 2 litre bottle of their fizz for 10 quid, helped by the Jazz World Stage using their nominated Thursday "sound check" to sneakily put a live band on. Both of those are now long gone, apparently with knuckles rapped in both cases, but for a while in the 00s hanging around the Jazz World field drinking Brothers and then being able to easily take it with you all over site afterwards was almost the default Thursday for many. They also used to play the party tunes at number 11, so it was one of the relatively few places you could have a big old dance on a Thursday. Absolute dross now though. Ayrshire Chris
Nothing wrong with double denim (including waistcoat with patches), at the festival as long as it incorporates Eavis style shorts. edit, as long as it’s dry! JamieKThomas
I cant stand the people who attend the festival every single year without fail, yet spend most of their time moaning about "the good old days" and how the festival is shit today in comparison. Surprise surprise, going to the same place every year without fail gets a bit more boring. Rose tinted glasses are in full effect. Also the overall branding and marketing of the festival is pretty terrible and could do with a massive overhaul - especially the website and the merch.

Head to Clapham and that's pretty much what most of the yoof are wearing, typically paired with chino shorts and sliders or a boat shoe, even in December. 4AssedMonkey
Have to partially disagree with the Brother Bar. On Weds/Thurs in the sunshine it's great place to chill and in my experience rarely plagued by nobheads. Festy Pear is the only one though. It's refreshing if not the most characterful. The flavoured ones though are ridiculously sweet and undrinkable IMO - especially toffee apple 🤢🤮 Everything I've ever tried from the cider bus however tastes like soured piss. If you want an overrated experience at Glasto, the Cider Bus is it.
09matthewsw
The Brothers Bar has dragged me out of many a dark hangover on a Saturday or Sunday morning. Sometimes sweet pish is the only answer. Also found it to be reasonably priced last year compared to some of the other bars
