Yeah I find the lager much easier drinking and nicer taste. I've only had a box of the pilsner once tbf, but it was just really carbonated, couldn't imagine drinking it all weekend without getting serious heartburn

Yeah bought a crate of 12 bottles had a few and think it's pretty deece. Much nicer than options of old like Tuborg and cberg garbage.

It wouldn’t be in my top 50 favourite beers or maybe even top 100, but it’s definitely an improvement. Also if I’m honest, the amount I’m usually drinking at the festival the quality doesn’t matter too much 😂

In the interests of research, I’ve had two big bottles of this this afternoon.

Not a bad drop, definitely an improvement on Carlsberg!

Will save me having to search hard for a decent pint of lager. Elephant Bar was the only place last year - had San Miguel on tap.

Finally I've cracked open a can of Brooklyn Pilsner. It is quite drinkable. Would I buy it for special occasions like Christmas or a birthday? No to the former, and perhaps for the latter if I'm expecting a large crowd. Is it passable for lounging in the sun listening to music at a festival? Absolutely yes.

I tried some earlier in the week. It’s a vast improvement on what we had before but I don’t think it’ll be in recycling box much from July onwards though.

That explains my hangover yesterday after a night on the lager at Great Escape! I went for it thinking it was the weaker option! 🥴

Had it before, but a while ago. Finally having one since the announcement in the garden and it's actually very nice! Had it in a 660ml bottle, guessing it'll taste a bit different in pints on the farm but the best lager I'll have on the main bars since I started going in 2009!
