What are you most looking forward to ?

To dispel the negativity I’m bloody glad I’m fortunate enough to have tickets to the worlds greatest festival and the festival will be doing their utmost to put on the best they can . The thing I’m most looking forward to is Elton John . And a whole pose of the virtual meet crew at Rhythm of the 90s in Croissant Neuf . 
 

In advance what do you think your highlights will be ? …. Will resurrect this thread post festival and see how things match up .

First time going and first camping festival I’ve been to since T in the Park. 10 years ago I remember watching Arctic Monkeys headlining the pyramid when I was like 17 and wanting to go to Glasto. Glad to have them headlining again for the first time I’ve actually got tickets.

So yeah defo AM for me. Also just excited to see the place and try all the food etc. see if it lives up to the hype!

Most looking forward to turning left into the Dragon Field, getting out and meeting up with a a good few old mates that I only see at Glastonbury.

After that who knows, maybe Kelis and hopefully some proper DnB and Jungle.

Got to agree with you on Elton, he’s probably going to be the highlight of my festival (until some random event happens that turns out to be the highlight for me).

Tbh I haven’t really been feeling it all year and I’ve been inactive from this site, but the last few days I’m starting to feel like I used to feel about the place, the butterflies and excitement are back. Roll on June

Great stuff . I think it’s the most excited about a headliner I’ve been since REM .

Aside from the music, I've not been since 2017 and the music is always immense, but I'm looking forward to that first moment after pitching my tent and sitting down and having my first cold cider taking in all the sights and sounds.

I also love the feeling of waking up on Thursday morning (despite the hangover) knowing you have a full four days in front of you to enjoy.

Dropping all my stuff off on arrival and heading out to explore is what I am really looking forward to. I'm more into drinking and having fun in the fields with 200,000 of my closest friends for 5 days than anything else. First pint of cider will be quite something.

Yeah lol I’ve actually been on here since 2013/14 on an old account. I joined cause I wanted to know who was headlining T earlier than the announcement then I just became pretty intrigued by glasto. Dunno what it is about the forums but it kinda hooks you in and there’s usually some sort of drama too to keep me from being bored. It’s a great source of info for all sorts of music related stuff too

Just getting through the gate after the journey we have been on to get a ticket.

Due to various different issues, this year I’m only going with a mate in a twosome. Looking forward to mixing things up and actually meeting some efesters IRL at one of the meet-ups if possible. 

Also want to explore and try something new this year, which should be an achievement with this being my 14th Glastonbury. 

Lineup wise, nothing beats Elton but I’m sure Lizzo will be special too.

Being inside the fence and away from life and stress, that fence is not only physical it's a mental defence.

It puts you in a different mind set, I think part of it is not having to drive as well.

I’m looking forward to wandering round the site with my brother and the rest of my old glasto crew who haven’t been for 10 years, can’t wait to show them all the new stuff.  
Also looking forward to NYC Downlow as I didn’t make it in there last year because of the queues and I’m determined this time! (Also don’t have a 6am wake up to go on shift because I’m not working it this year,  I can stay out!)

Looking forward to waking up on the Thursday, starting pre drinks and getting lost in the day! Thursday is the best day for me! Also going to lost horizons this year so naked trampolining is top of my to do list!

This is the first year where nobody is really standing out for me. Obviously it'll be amazing to see Elton but it's not like he's ever made a deliberate appearance on my Spotify (apart from the odd funky collab).

So with that said, I'm really looking forward to doing the things I'm normally too busy to do - SE corner during the day, actually seeing a performance at the circus, things like that. This is going to be an extra chill festival for me this year, whatever way the wind takes me (and I can't wait for it for that reason!)
