for me, honestly, it's not a matter of genres or even generations, but a matter of inflation. Primavera sound stopped being an alternative or indie festival a long long time ago; nowadays, it's on the same level as coachella, which is the pinnacle of capitalism and the drive to make things profitable, over time, if you want to have the 6 most influential or biggest artists of the year, you will inevitably have to sacrifice part of the rest of the lineup and the prices will have to increase... honestly, as of today, it makes no sense to spend the incredible amount of money the festival costs if you're not going to see the big names that make it worth it... that's just how it is, and we have to accept it
