Seen people still going on about this Royal Blood set this morning and now it's just getting a bit pathetic. There are worse sins than being cringey wannabe rockstars on stage, we all had a laugh at their expense but acting like they're some sin against professionalism who should be shunned from festival lineups are going a bit far.

They shouldn't be booked purely because they took QOTSA, DFA1979 and Lightning Bolt and blended it into the blandest music imaginable.

Agree. Completely devoid of a sense of humour, it's kind of fascinating to watch.

They could just say "sorry (which they never actually say), had a bad day, we looked liked twats" and then some kind of a joke like do a quick rocking cover or Macarena in a sound check for example and put on SM. 

It's so easy to turn this stuff around if you own it and laugh about it. If you are a total penis though you can't laugh at yourself.

Agreed. They made dicks of themselves, but should musicians making dicks of themselves really be this huge of a scandal? It's not as if they said anything racist or homophobic, etc. They just had a diva moment in front of a bunch of teenyboppers. And speaking of QOTSA, there are entire compilation videos of Josh Homme behaving in a worse manner on stage.
