That feels like a stretch. More likely be to people already on the lineup like Rina Sawayama or people he’s had recent hits with like Dua/Britney/Olly Alexander.

I agree Eminem is a stretch but if Bruce and Dave were happy to fly over for it last year in theory the draw of Elton’s UK farewell could attract anyone. Not that I have any suggestions.

In all seriousness, not sure what there will honestly be in terms of setlist changes and/or losses. Would put money on the two guests being Kiki Dee and Dua Lipa.

Current show, at twenty-three songs, is coming in at 145 minutes. With an allotted 125 minutes overall, the need to add Don't Go Breaking My Heart in and the fact he is unlikely to lose Funeral for a Friend/Love Lies Bleeding - its position midway through the show allows for a quick break during its elongated intro - reckon we could be looking at something like this.

Bennie and the Jets
Philadelphia Freedom
I Guess That's Why They Call it the Blues
Border Song
Tiny Dancer
Rocket Man (I Think It's Going to Be a Long, Long Time)
Someone Saved My Life Tonight
Don't Go Breaking My Heart (with Kiki Dee)
Candle in the Wind
10 Funeral for a Friend/Love Lies Bleeding
11 Sorry Seems to Be the Hardest Word
12 Don't Let the Sun Go Down On Me
13 The Bitch Is Back
14 I'm Still Standing
15 Crocodile Rock
16 Saturday Night's Alright for Fighting

17 Cold Heart (with Dua Lipa)
18 Your Song
19 Goodbye Yellow Brick Road

We lose Have Mercy on the CriminalTake Me to the PilotLevonBurn Down the Mission and Sad Songs (Say So Much) - arguably the five least known cuts in that set for a casual fan, which drops about twenty-five minutes out to make two hours. Add in Don't Go Breaking My Heart and, hey presto, that's your 125-minute farewell show.

(I understand the logic of a closing one-two with Your Song and Goodbye Yellow Brick Road - but do kind of wish he'd swing for something more wildly energetic to end the encore. Switch out Your Song to go before Saturday Night's Alright for Fighting and put Crocodile Rock after Goodbye Yellow Brick Road to send everybody home in a singalong mood.)

Hope he adds in can you feel the love tonight

To be honest, if he is changing the setlist for a non-guest spot song... money is on Daniel (because it has already been on the tour) or something from The Lion King.

(Which in itself would be odd, because he's not touched most of it with a barge pole for years.)

He's bringing someone massive out... For him to say it.

Adele, Probably Chris Martin cos he is everywhere, and probably Ed Sheeran - just to piss me off

Sheeran technically on tour in America, but could very well pull a U2 and be over after his show in Maryland on the Saturday before flying back for his next gig on the Thursday.

The sky is the limit with Elton. It could really be anyone, but more likely if they have a connection. Would love to see Dua and Kiki. Outside chance of Eminem. No chance of Chris Martin.

You've only gone on and jinxed it now haven't you?

Hmm.

I think this kind of thing will happen... not saying with Gaga, but someone as big. Just got a feeling it'll be with Adele

Sine from Above in the encore please. Cold Heart can sod off.

Actually, can Elton just play another set elsewhere on sight where he has nothing but his guest feature songs? Sine from AboveThe Pink Phantom, Fairweather FriendsSave Rock and Roll, the list goes on!

According to setlist fm he did love tonight last year. Before that 2016

Take Me To The Pilot bangs so that would be a shame. In all honesty I’d much rather he cut Cold Heart in favour of another one his classics but that’s almost certainly not gonna happen sadly.

If he’s after a different end to the show and the Lion King songs are destined to remain sadly absent, closing with Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me complete with a choir would be unforgettable.
