Mini ribbon tower is looking a bit wonky.  Is the onion too heavy?

nope, just getting really hard to push the legs into the ground - bit hard.  Will resort to a hammer tomorrow, that is steel rod of about 1/4", bring a decent mallet for tent pegs.

Water table height in the well is 0mm. Diver has been down to check in case some rip in the space time continuum has moistened the hole, alas his entry has been fruitless. All he got was scratches on his helmet.

It’s like Kenneth Williams has just become a weather man😊

“Everyone is a bit scared” Said the Diver, “But we are less scared together” said the Cow, “If Chris Martin turns up we can at least tell him to f**k off as one”

Temperature at 0848 am is 14.2 C and humidity is 69%. Rainfall in last 24 hours is 0mm. The Ram Jam Jar squatters have delivered their ultimatum. They want a ridiculous amount of flies delivered by midday as reparations, it is the only currency they will accept. I am secretly training a shock army of wood pigs to storm the jar. sh*t will get real.

Water table height in the well is 0mm. Diver has declined the chance of another dry entry into the hole and has instead been rubbing WD40 into his helmet scratches for what seems like an unusually long time. Nothing to report from him, so here is a picture of a sunbathing sparrow.

Pokey Twins read no.1 on the moist-o-meter.  As desiccated as that coconut at the back of your mum’s larder.

“What is the bravest thing you have said?” asked the Diver, “Help” said the Cow, “I was stuck in that crush after sugerbabes and cacking myself”

Temperature at 0947 am is 17.8 C and humidity is 68%. Rainfall in last 24 hours is 0 mm. The Ram Jam Jar squatters have been evicted after a short but brutal conflict, peace is restored and Michael can have his rubbery feet checked freely. Still dry.

Water table height in the well is lower than a reptiles genitalia. Diver has put his feet up in a yurt near The Beckery, we are to call him if it looks like he is needed. Instead, here is a weather picture by Gabe who lives in Birmingham.

Pokey Twins read no.1 on the moist-o-meter.  It’s all a bit Chuck Norris, current hardness suggests that you will need a big hammer and hard ground pegs.

What size hammer are we going to need for tent pegs? The way it’s going we might need to hire hydraulic rams to get the pegs in.

pound and a half brick hammer should do it. don't forget to upgrade the pegs though, a cheap wire peg will just bend if you skelp it.

** camping geek alert **

You need high tensile steel pegs if the grounds brick hard. Beware of ones calling themselves “heavy duty” which, unless they are high tensile steel, are usually anything but.

Remember the biodegradable tent pegs they gave out one year?  Made of dried compressed potato or carrot peel or something like that.

Snapped instantly.

Tasted horrible too.

“When have you been at your strongest?” asked the Diver, “When I have dared to double drop” said the Cow. “felt like superman until the incident with the long drops.”

Temperature at 0814 am is 15.9 C and humidity is 74%. Rainfall in last 24 hours is 0 mm. The Ram Jam Jar is dusty, as dry as a dry thing in dry town on dry Thursday. Very dry.

Water table height in the well is nil, nada, niente. The Diver is still in his yurt near The Beckery, and is getting Sky installed by the DHSS due to long term unemployment. Here's a picture of one of our slow worms who love the hot and dry.

Pokey Twins read no.1 on the moist-o-meter.  Biscuits AB, three without drinking. Some will know.

Returning for 2023 despite zero demand and data, the Pilton rainfall chart.

Yes @blutarsky!

Edit: Am sure you have much better things to be doing.... but, could you add year on year comparison?

that sort of talk belongs in the science thread where they seem to think that what happened last year has any relevance to this year. Apples and aircraft carriers being compared.

Here's last year's final chart.

If and when there is any rain I can add a cumulative column to this year's chart.

Thanks @blutarsky   Drier start to this June!  Its all coming together

@pilton digger Does it not get a pass as it was included last year?

I like pictures so I don't really care as long as people realize the utter futility of comparing weather. it is weather not conditional probability.
