Pronghorn!

haven't checked, but assume they're playing thursday night yeah?

PRONGHORN

They are. 10pm in Rocket Lounge. Found them for the first time last year at Boomtown and they were so much fun.

Do you know anyone else similar on the lineup?

One year I did a pub quiz at the West Holts bar on Thursday. We won and the prize was a £50 bar tab. The next morning was the worst hangover I ever had at the festival.
I wonder if it’s happening again?

Not sure on the quiz but the hangover yes, definitely

Skindred.

was looking forward to these, but have just been given a freebie to Kiss in Newcastle on Tuesday.  Not that fussed about Kiss (although I think it will be a fun show) but Skindred supporting, so one clash down 😉

Do we think Prima Queen will be rammed or do-able given they are relatively early?   I normally spend the day at Shangri-La Truth Stage but there's not a massive amount on that appeals until later on.

Not sure but I think that it'll be OK given they're playing 5 times across the weekend (and most of those early in the day)

There’s a nice little run of good acts on the Croissant Neuf Bandstand from 12.30pm - 2.30pm.

Bookended by Keke Manikii and Apple Shakers both of who I’ve listened to a fair bit since the line up came out. Hoping to chill out there for a few hours in the early afternoon.

Call me boring but I really want to see the new Wes Anderson film at the cinema tent. Might be a nice chilled start into the weekends antics

I'm not a WA fan, but if another film that tickled my fancy was showing I'd be all over it. Cinema has been a part of the festival much longer than a lot of other elements, and I remember fondly enjoying some late night films back in the 90s. It may not be as hard-core as some of the other offerings, but there'll be a nice atmosphere and it's not the same as watching it at home.

Although I remember it being quite a long time to sit like that, maybe some form of backrest would be in order.

Saving that to watch at the cinema at home to hopefully fight off some of the post-festival blues.

There's quite a few things I fancy seeing on the Thursday this year but stuff was so busy last year that I am not getting overly focused on anything in particular in case it's rammed. Probably just going to wander around and see what's happening.
