Thought it might be worth starting a thread for those moments when you plan to wander off from your group to see something different. A place to see if there is anyone else like minded to hang out with.

I'm happy to just wander off and make friends along the way to be honest but thought it might be worth having a place to see if anyone else is about?

For example...I plan to claim my night off from the kids on the Friday. Would like to catch Blessed Madonna and Young Singh if anyone's around 🤷🏼‍♀️

Despite going with about 20 people I will spend the majority of the weekend watching acts on my own.

Great idea. I don't mind watching bands on my own, but for the late night djs I'd like a dance buddy!

I'm up for The Blessed Madonna too, and other things in Block 9 around her set 😊

If (as I fully expect) the start of GnR is ear-bleedingly awful, I'm hot footing it to FBS at The Park for a party and then Showhawk in the Bimble.  I suspect I'll be alone in doing so.

Like you I am happy enough to wander on my own at times, but a gig is always better with someone like minded.

I will def be on my own for Slowdive - so hopefully can use this thread to meet up with someone in the same boat.

Sounds great, possibly up for the former. Just need to triangulate work shifts, bringing small person in for a day/night and associated comings/going & acts I’d like to see…

If any one is looking to carry on the party but you are solo/your group doesn’t party as hard as you then me and my group are often out til the sun comes up so more than welcome to join us for a boogie

See if we can catch up on the CV fields on the Tuesday if convenient, I like heading off without our group occasionally and catching a gig none of them would be interested in.

Definitely 😊 will be plenty of time on the Tuesday to come and say hello. Love swapping ideas and recommendations of acts to see as well

I’ll almost certainly be at Joesef alone with the Manics/Lizzo clash. I’ll be dancing badly and singing worse. Come say hello if passing.
