I can't see this happening. Bringing them on to sing an Elton song seems silly. Unsure if there's any connection and I can't see him giving up his stage for ' a few songs'.

Why are we even talking about Spice Girls? They have just about zero connection with Elton's music. 

There's so much reaching here for special guests... Am I alone in actually wanting to see just Elton? You know, it's going to be special enough even without Britney Spears.

Arguably the same applies to Paul McCartney's guests, no real pre-existing connection that I'm aware of.

I do feel like speculating about guests is just part of the headliner chat these days as it's seen as what makes a Glastonbury headline performance 'special'. Personally think it's more impressive when acts buck the trend and keep it as just themselves, but also love the silly speculation over who might appear. At least this time Elton has mentioned having guests so it's not completely baseless.
