My old man is pushing 70 but had a lifetime of software developing so I'm hoping for the best to be honest.
If anyone can get it done, it's my fully on the spectrum old man
not all because a stage is allocated a set number of tickets for that stage, before bookings are made. So the stage manager will have to allocate the tickets to the booked bands
I've tried to explain it all to my Dad in Istanbul, he didn't really understand but registered for Glastonbury himself. What a legend. I hope it him that gets them! It'll be hilarious if he gets himself a ticket too.
Oh man, I've been pretty optimistic about the lineup since it came out but seeing these day splits just makes seem so... sparse (for my tastes, at least).
On the Thursday especially, I know that I don't like Charli or Idles or Parcels or Brutalismus or Beabadoobee or The Dare. Across the whole day there's only Spiritualized and Twigs that I'm actually into, whilst I'll admit that CMAT and Jamie XX will be fun on the night and put on a good show. Friday and Saturday are still pretty empty for me, but there's at least a lot of acts I've been meaning to check out.
Not meaning to moan because obviously it's all subjective - but if anybody has any recommendations as to who I'm overlooking or where to start on any particuar artists, I'd really appreciate the help!
For reference, my favourite acts on the wider line-up are Beach House, LCD, Spiritualized, BCNR, Cat Power & Anhoni and the Johnsons.
Thanks.
