Where to meet en route from north and south

Hi, this is my first Glasto along with the rest of my pals going. 
 

There are two cars going, one from Leeds and one from Bournemouth, so coming at it from opposite directions, and we want to meet en route lest we never find each other when we get there (plus I have all the tickets/car park passes). 
 

Any tips on where could be the easiest  place to meet?! I’m imagining anywhere directly on route could be a nightmare to get to/stay at for a period while we all journey there.

Shepton Mallet - Tesco’s, B&M or Dobbies garden centre (not sure how busy any of them will be) but Dobbies has loos, farm shop type food offering & cafe (shh it’s my secret stop off)
