T & C Crew camping

Quick question for anyone that might know.  I’m performing this year and have onsite blue parking badge and had hoped to camp in the orchard.  Will be arriving at 11am Wednesday.  Just wondering Will there be plenty of space still left in the orchard at this point and is there much of a walk from the on-site parking to the camping area itself.  Big cheers.

If there's no space at that time, the overflow car park for T&C is about 500 yards from Orchard Gate (yellow diamond below). That's where staff (camped in the blue area just beyond the fence - I think that field is called Fanny's Orchard, or something) and some performers parked last year. You'll need your wristband, ticket and a pass-out to regain access via that gate, otherwise you'll have to go all the way up to pedestrian gate C. Probably worth contacting T&C direct, to be certain, particularly if you have specific accessibility requirements

There would usually be space to camp in the Orchard at that time, not much choice exactly where, and not for a large tent, but space yes.  I dp not know about parking/on site driving, sorry.

Balls.  It’s a bell tent.  Where would be the next best place of the Orchid is all full?

Sorry read this wrong.  That overflow area actually seems alright.  Does getting a pass-out mean you get searched every time you re-enter?

Orchard will be rammed by Wednesday, the set up crews normally camp there so will be busy now. Secret orchard might be ok I would have thought for one tent, either follow the road around orchard or there is a path along the stream. Otherwise it is that overflow in the blue in the above map. Right near where you park your car

The Secret Orchard, as fred quimby said.  You will probably be able to get in, maybe right up by the fence,  I mean the perimeter fence.  I have seen shall we say spacious bell tents go up that late, but really squeazed in awkwardly close to neighbours.  You might stand a chance.  

As for the Pass Out question, security stuff does change one year to the next, but I usually go out and back at least once, never been heavily searched on returning.  I am not promising anything, and others may have different experiences.
