Regardless of personal tastes, I really can't see how was the weekend 2 weaker in terms of size (or number) of headliners.

Do you mean Grian Chatten's album? Not sure if they'll tour that as a group.

Given the names that already are touring and not. 

Interpol: Not because they confirm today they are touring in south america.

I would throw MGMT in the mix. New album to be released on 23th february. Haven't been in europe since 2018 and have played Primavera only once in 2008.

They confirmed in a recent interview they have no tour planned. They don't really like it by the sounds of it. They said they would tour again but it doesn't seem like that will be soon.

SZA seems like a very secure name for a female headliner. Hopefully Twigs also comes. From the rest don’t see anything else coming besides some small names.

Pulp announced 20/6 in a festival in Greece, so it's not only August dates. they must be in

Fatboy Slim doing a UK/IRE summer tour starting in Dublin on 14th June. Has he ever played PS? Thought his set (bar Rita Ora's appearance) was excellent at Glastonbury this year.

At least he gave a official pre-party in  Primavera Sound in Porto several years ago, so i believe he was at Barcelona too

He was my idol 25 years ago, now I think his show is only suitable if they want to revive Calvin Harris' slot

Of course each to their own, and I fully respect what you are saying... but I don't see them in a similar position on the lineup, in terms of the stage he would (in my fantasy booking play) nor what they bring to the party. I personally found Harris super boring (many didn't presumably) but reckon Cook would go down a storm on that smaller stage where Four Tet played.

I don't know how much I would pay to have a DJ set like in the Big Beat days...
