Paquetta getting charged for spot fixing.

That would be crazy if found guilty. A very rich young man on a lucrative contract, Brazil international and for a few more grand washes all that away.

Claims now out that ten Hag is going to be fired regardless of whether he wins the FA Cup final tomorrow.

Can't say it's a great surprise given the 8th place PL finish or ETH seemingly ok with his teams losing control. Question ofc - who next?

If Bayern Munich's bizarre pursuit of Kompany is an indication, Chris Wilder to Old Trafford anyone?

Ten Hag gone tomorrow then. Tuchel next?

Either Tuchel or Pochettino. Both would be decent hires in theory for Man Utd tbf.

Would also show up Chelsea's increasingly oddball decision making if Poch got the MUFC job and beat them next season.

Xavi is in the market too. Merry-go-round summer.

Barcelona's story is pretty strange, given it went from Xavi going "I quit" in January to u-turning in April to now the club telling him to go away.

Hansi Flick is meant to be taking that job, and he would be a decent replacement tbf. Or at least would be if they got the version who won a treble at Bayern rather than the one who struggled to get a tune out of the German national side.

Bet there's a few chelsea and Newcastle fans not happy with that result.

Eh. We cost ourselves by losing 11 away games in the regular season. No point getting too angry about it when we blew the chance to get the job done ourselves.

Wonder if this might actually change their mind or the perspective is still to tell him to go away.

Though given Ten Hag has basically dared the board to sack him in his post-match press conference, seems like he's content either way.

Points dropped to Luton, Forest and Everton being the worst moments.

multi-million pound pay-off helps the sacking go down.

Failing to beat Bournemouth or an off-colour Brighton, conceding an injury time equaliser at West Ham, losing to Chelsea at a moment when they were truly awful, missing a lot of chances in losing at Old Trafford... there's been quite a few iffy moments.

But it is what it is. Just got to do try better next time.

I still think the lads did great, it was such a difficult season. We pushed that group of death all the way which ended up with semi finalist and finalist of the champions league. The days lost through injury has been truly ridiculous and add on our star signing being banned all season. Depending on what happens in summer though, now is time for us to truly push on if the ownership are serious about their ambitions.

Were in every game apart from the Dortmund one away who are in the final this year. We were never out of contention of going through until the second half of the final group games. Not bad for first time back after 20 years away.

Remind me how Champion League regulars Man U did? Exactly the same in an easier group was it? Actually think Newcastle United got more points.
