I’ve waited years to see them so I really hope not! And while the foos are great, I was there in 2017 & don’t need to see them headline again.

Alex will probably have recovered in time if he has already had it for a few days but it is possible that he will still be unwell on Friday 23rd. I'm not seeing them as I'll be up at The Park but I hope that they do still play for anyone planning on watching them.

I guess if they were pulling out they would have done it to give the festival a bit of a chance to get a replacement in .... if they pull out later this week Emilys gonna have a tougher job

You dont make that announcement until everything is sorted. Right now there are probably lots of phone calls happening and maybe a timeline on when to make a choice. The Eavii will see what they can do and put something into place and make their decision by Weds most likely. 

 

Coachella didnt officially announce Frank Ocean was off the lineup til the Thursday before the second weekend. But the info was leaked on Weds by the trade publications. So they took 2 days to look at their options and such then made a move. Sorting out Blink 182 and OMG TBA didnt take 5 minutes.

 

 

Right now theyre sitting good with Churnups being where they are. Just move em and have them play another 30 minutes. But of course that throws the rest of the evening off with conflicts. But you make due.

Instinct says it'll go ahead but it will be touch and go imo. 4 days isn't exactly a lot of time to get it back in order.

An AM fan on their forum said that in 2013, they were back on stage 5 days after Alex had laryngitis and had to cancel a show in Birmingham on the day itself (something I remember as friends who were going to it got on a train to go only to be told it was off just as the train left to go there).

They will* play, they'll do something to go the extra mile (Guy Gurvey compostion/ strings ala 2013), the crowd will love it and they will further add to their legacy.

 

*By will I mean I can't stand the idea of Foos headlining, and I was meant to see AM headline in 2013 but Oxfam cancelled my volunteering application a month before the festivals because they 'overbooked'

I think they’ll play too. He’s got 5 working days to rest his voice, drink lots of honey & lemon etc!

They are the 1 band at this festival I REALLY want to see & have waited a long time for. Praying to the glasto gods 🙏🏻
