Chrisp1986
Does anyone have a postcode to enter which will direct us to a car park that has the flattest approach to the site? Will be arriving approx 1-2pm traffic dependent.
09matthewsw
Assuming you mean 1pm tomorrow? West parking has the flatter walk to site but it’s still a hell of a trek. You’ll likely be directed into Pink arriving at that time from which is approx 45 minute walk to gate A / Gate D depending on how much stuff you’re carrying and whether you’ve had your weetabix. Postcodes on the website below, but I’d encourage you to look at the maps and plan your route as much as possible. Dropping down through Laucherley and North Wootton when driving out of Wells is a great option to avoid the traffic. But traffic shouldn’t be too much of an issue at that time. https://www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk/information/getting-here/by-car/
Chrisp1986
Thanks yeah 1pm tomorrow. Travelling alone so but worried about the walk from car but also want to take more stuff than coach will allow! Seriously can't decide what to do. I have parked both sides and much preferred West. The walk from East was an absolute killer the one year we did it.

But heading for East this year so we can hopefully get somewhere near to Big Ground camping. Planning to take just the camping essentials and enough beer for Wednesday with us at first and then do another car run Thursday morning for the rest of the stuff. where are you travelling from? Yeah I am gonna try my big wheeled coleman in one hand, tent in other and backpack with bag and mat attached. Just worried it will be too much! I am in West Yorkshire

At least it looks like the conditions are going to be ideal. The walk to the site is always the worst part of the whole thing but worth it once you’re in!
