This is my concern - I would like to know what the intended new criteria is for priority qualification in 2026 now ideally, so that I can correctly satisfy that criterion when I select festivals to steward this year on Tues 4th...
I thought as much as Birmingham was a fun time, the arena was just too big for them a bit and no, none of them are anywhere close to headlining. Without being on this particular album tour, Bullet shouldn't even be subbing really and then it's still in question. Two of 2024 subs on a weaker year currently outsell them easily in Limp Bizkit and Offspring who both sold out their latest arena tours very quick and one is charging similar to Bullet and the other £90. I don't know what RB really do these days. Bullet are likely subbing a band this year that should be subbing anyway.
I think as long as they can get their vehicles up and down the emergency lanes, for obvious reasons, they're generally pretty relaxed. Nice people all around in all honesty.
We've been there a couple of times now, thankfully, we're saving for a decent proper holiday this year, so we were always planning to go in general camping, as I'm not sure I would have been quick enough.
🤣
You're not wrong, that walk back is a drag at the end of the night / morning.
I might have gone if it wasn't for being at Hyde Park. The last album anyone really cared for in a broad scale for Biffy Clyro was Ellipsis 9 years ago and I'm probably being quite generous there. In reality it's Opposites. The fact you can buy tickets easily for their Scottish date with a very sizeable sub says quite a lot. You could easily get tickets to multiple dates of their arena tour a fair while after going in sale.
