For those who like to scan all the many forecasts out there make sure you look up the correct Glastonbury, not Glastonbury Connecticut where it’s currently having a heatwave😉😊

Or technically... the correct Glastonbury is... Pilton!  LOL!

Sometimes the Glastonbury and Pilton forecasts actually differ, and Pilton is of course closer, so that's the one I go to on the BBC site.

Can't stop looking at this thread. It's like watching the most important football match of your life spread out over 2 weeks with updates every few hours. Was even having dreams about it last night. Keep up the work lads and fingers crossed for a good one.

Get the brollies out. And not for the rain.

You might have spoken too soon... what's that horrible blue blob doing, creeping up in the bottom left of the UK Precipitation window..?! Eek!

And even then… Pilton in Somerset NOT Pilton in Devon.

It's fun time again! Bring on the 12Z. Will Wednesday improve?

THROUGH TO GATES OPEN

Now seems set on that rain overnight Friday into Saturday, but there's not much. The loads of drying time with temps of 16-17, 20, 21-22, 24-25. Heating up!

GATES OPEN & WEDNESDAY

It's now COMPLETELY DRY for gates open, with temperatures of 17-18.

And Wednesday is completely dry and SCORCHIO at 25-26.

Overnight temperatures into Thursday of 16-17.

High pressure is in control in this run (on the right), and it's BUILDING (latest on the right).

THURSDAY

Completely dry, highs of 25-26.

Overnight temperatures into Friday of 17-18.

High pressure remains in command and looks to be staying strong (latest on the right).

FRIDAY

Completely dry, ignore the wispy blue, highs of 28-30.

Overnight temperatures into Saturday of 18.

The low to the north is being completely repelled and heat continues to build on this run (latest on the right). However, is there a risk out off the coast of Spain?

SATURDAY

Completely dry, highs of 25-26.

But that pesky pocket seems to be moving up from Spain... will it get to us? Latest run on the right.

Luckily we as move overnight, the apocalypse misses Glasto and goes for south central instead. Overnight temperatures into Sunday of 18.

SUNDAY

There are showers around, with highs of 20-21, but all the heavy rain is going out to the east.

Highs of 18 overnight into Monday.

And here you can see that danger, with the pocket again having moved up from Spain to be off the coast of England. Latest run on the right.

SUMMARY

A fantastic run, and one to celebrate - but not without concerns about possible rain / thunderstorms amid the heat next weekend.

It's all to play for, and we're BACK ON THE BUS.
