Had the pasta up there one year. Penne arrabiata. Mushy pasta in what just seemed to be lukewarm passata. f**k that place.
CaledonianGonzo
The Meze place also a no go area.
upstream
I would say in the Park Holy Cow is the best burger on festival site, Sams Pies are really good too - the mezze place is fantastic too and I have a soft spot for the tea and toast guys as wells at the cafe opposite Glastonbury on Sea. I adore the tiny tea Tipi especially their raw cacao brownies

CaledonianGonzo
Jerk is usually one of my go tos, but f**k me it's a ballache to eat off a paper plate with a wooden knife and fork.

I'd agree, but there's nothing stopping you taking your own cutlery - either a fancy titanium affair designed for camping or simply grab a fork out of the draw before you leave. Makes all the difference in the world for sh*t like that.

4AssedMonkey
Generally, ost of the stalls closest to the Pyramid/Other tend to be bland, overpriced crap. The exception are the tray of 4 samosas you can get at each stage, which are lush.

Olshansky
In general - I always have to try and go for stuff that I can't get or make at home. For this reason, I'm never getting a pasta at a festival. It will be better anywhere else, including from a box at home. I can buy frozen samosas at the shop, as well as mezze of all equal quality. and being from North America, I'm sorry but the mexican food in europe just doesn't cut it. Can't do it and not be disappointed. But I will say, it is improving all the time! I'm also a new yorker, and so I'm a pizza snob. that leaves me with trying to source the best british foods on site. full english. fish & chips. pastys. pies. sausage rolls. ice cream in the UK far surpases ours. American chocolate is sh*t, so I'm always pleased with the sweets. Would never trust an american to make a decent curry of any sort unless they've immigrated haha, so I always search them out. I would never take the time to make a jerk chicken at home, so that's always on the list. It's hard to find decent moroccan food even in nyc. that's always on the list. upstream
17 hours ago, StoneCircle said: Where will I find Sams Pies please? 😊 in the Park - as you walk in going up the hill the food concessions on the left hand side - 3rd stall down from the Park bar ( 2 down from tea and toast - 3 up from Leb Mezze)

Agree with lots of that, except: The samosa place in the strip of vendors left of Other (there's another one somewhere else, but I can't remember where) is excellent. Not too expensive, great spicing and sauces, and a perfect quick snack in between bigger meals if you need something. I really love pizza, and have had very nice ones at the Farm. The place opposite the bar at WG is good, but always busy so you have to time it so as not to wait too long. Ben
Chip Batch
Luardo’s - a pink truck by the Other Stage does great nachos. It was there in 2022 but I didn't go last year so don’t know about now. Photo below is from End of the Road, but the same thing. Edited May 29 by Chip Batch

IIRC the other one was on the road from the left of the Pyramid field towards the bandstand.

CaledonianGonzo
All I ate on the Sunday of last year were 4 tiny samosas from the place by the Other Stage. Not a good strategy come Monday morning.
j00nbrains
✅ Bunnyman's Bunnychow was a highlight for me last year as a real boot filler of a meal! Basically a litre of chilli in a loaf of bread with sour cream and garlic bread. They didn't f**k about with the spice either! ✅ Pizza from a little stall somewhere up near the healing fields I think. Did fresh juices too which really hit the spot for a good price ✅ Te a tost - Got suckered in by the Welsh name but was a cracking cup of tea and good thick toast that blew away a hangover on Saturday morning ❌ Loaded fries on the stretch between Circus and Pyramid - Chips looked awesome but were mostly undercooked and hard ❌ Goan fish curry in WH - nothing particularly wrong with it but just not inspiring
