Exactly! And it kind of brought you back to life yourself slowly. It also had some relatively big names without being really packed because it was early in the day and you didn't know who would turn up other than Marcus Brigstock.

We used to spend the majority of our days and early evenings in the circus and theatre fields, especially the cabaret tent in the 90’s and early 00’s. Seen some quality comedy from Harry Hill, Bill Bailey ( then memory runs out of steam🙄). Malcolm Hardee was an excellent compare, probably funnier than most of the acts. 
It was also the ideal place to skin up in and share a few spliffs back in the day😀
