4AssedMonkey
For me, Lottery Winners. Despite multiple sets, they all clashed and geographically were miles away. Would have loved to catch them, alas. ☹️
Skip997
Probably only: Nova Twins and Alison Goldfrapp, but Barrington Levy was well worth it.
fraybentos1
Fred Again for me. Wanted to try get a good spot for AM and not be rushed cause they're my fave band and I'd never been to the Pyramid before. In hindsight I think there are loads of good spots further back at the pyramid and I f**ked it a bit.

Stoney43
Fred again Stayed for Royal Blood. While they were great as usual, it wasn't much different to 2017...FA looked great on iplayer

WStoner
QOTSA. Unholy clash with Elton 😞
WestCountryGirl
The War on Drugs. They had been on my must-see list since the line-up drop but when Sunday night came I got wrapped up in the plans to make sure I would be with my friends for Elton, and didn't want to risk missing anything, so gave TWOD up. Can just about bear it because I know I'll see them again, who knows, hopefully at Glasto at some point.

FuzzyDunlop
1. QOTSA (Due to Reg) - Seeing them in November though 2. Viagra Boys (Clashed with the Hu) 3. Candi Staton (Elton Clash of sorts) 4. TWOD (see above) Sunday was absolutely stacked. 5. Texas (Clashed with DJ Yoda) Edited June 28, 2023 by FuzzyDunlop
Drinky
Japanese Breakfast - delayed en route from Luxembourg and got to site too late to load the kit in for the 12.30 start time.
collectivisedfarming
War on Drugs (wanted to get food/drink and a spot for Elton) Lizzo (chose Earl Sweatshirt instead) Ezra Collective (clash with Manics)
ICGenie
Joanne Shaw Taylor. Bit of a convoluted clash - I always watch Stephen Frost Impro Allstars and really wanted to go this year following the death of Andy Smart. They do shows Friday and Saturday, and I chose Billy NoMates on Friday, then the Allstars on Saturday. Only watched 20 minutes of Billy NoMates in the end, so I wish I’d gone to Astrolabe which would have freed me up for JST on Saturday. Other than that it’s the obvious QOTSA and alt-J on Sunday. Was never missing Elton though.

Troop Dogg
Rick Astley/Blossoms sing The Smiths. Knew nothing about it until too late. Looked and sounded amazing on iplayer! 1

Hugh Jass II
The Hives, CRJ, The Last Dinner Party, The Murder Capital, Lizzo (was queueing for food), Editors. This is what happens when you take children to Glastonbury. Stil had a great time though.
Supernintendo Chalmers
The War on Drugs. Sacked them off to make sure I was in the Pyramid field for Elton, much like a lot of others, by the sound of it, only for a last minute change of heart to see QOTSA instead. What a mistake-a to make-a. TWOD had a criminally small crowd too, for obvious reasons. Absolutely perfect sunset conditions, as well. It'll sting for some time, that one. Looked and sounded amazing on iplayer! Personally if you've seen The Smyths before then you didn't miss much here. It was okay but unless you actually sound like The Smyths it's just a tribute/novelty act. The Smyths are far superior. 1

When samples were re used, he put them all in (I.E. The message / Check your self / Players). He lobbed in Tina Turner - Whats love got to do with it which went down well. Inspector Gadget, but the Highlight was the Imperial Death March mixed to Usher...Yeah. Atmosphere was banging too.
catavento
In hindsight Loyle Carner would have been a much better bet on the Saturday evening than Christine and the Queens. CATQ was more an impressive bit of theatre than a festival stage headline show, and it was difficult to feel engaged when the whole thing was based around the relatively challenging new stuff. (On me rather than on him obviously - artists can play what they want)
