I’m gutted I missed….

The War On Drugs, Pretenders, Sparks, Weyes Blood and Rick Astley with Blossoms were all acts I missed because I had a clash but, having watched them back on the iPlayer, wished I was there.

Them's the breaks!

I'd only give a couple of caveats

1. If you're on a journey to becoming worse for wear, or have reached that destination 

2. If you're rubbish at navigation 

3. If you may get anxious in the traffic going through busy routes 

Despite all its loveliness I wouldn't want a panic attack there

We left The Park after Sparks to go and watch The Damned (who were excellent!)

Just watched the set by Fever Ray on the iPlayer, ah, I so wish I'd stayed for them.... looked and sounded incredible.

Yes, saw them from the pyramid field, pretty sure it was during lizzo.

 

Loads of things I'm gutted I missed (sparks, Raye, Charlotte Adigery & Bolis Pupul, jockstrap, ADG7, most of maneskin...), but I don't regret any of the clash choices I made.

Saw that Sparks clip with Cate Blanchett on the highlights show and loved it. Wished I'd seem their full set now.

Watched Young Fathers' set on iPlayer, it sounded amazing. I don't regret being at Fred because that was precious, but would love to have cloned myself and watched both. Also sorry to have missed Candi Staton and Carly Rae Jepson.
