Are The Eagles not in a position to do it? Was that recent massive tour a one-off comeback type event. I'm not very clued up on their movements but would absolutely love to see it.

Pretty sure Eavis has chased them before to headline and money has been an issue as they’re a bunch of greedy bastards so no way they’re doing the legend slot.

And I gotta say.  Eagles have pretty much Trigger's Broomed. Joe Walsh is like the Ronnie Wood of the Eagles.

Eagles are doing a final tour, which will probably be a long one. Considering the recently discovered respect of US bands for the fest, I'd be surprised if they weren't stong contenders. 

Take 7 or 8 tunes out of here and you have a killer show. A load of "oh I know this song, never knew it was them" moments.

both him and the Spice girls would have me undecided .... not a fan but they would be sing alongs where id know the words to pretty much everything

I still reckon that getting Don Henley solo to do it would be both substantially cheaper, and result in a better show.

Don's Solo set in Hyde Park supporting Carol King (who would also be great) would make a fine legend's slot set.
