What have you done to get ready for Glastonbury 24 ?

I got a Salt Rock 4 seasons dry robe on a recent trip to Cornwall, but looking at the waterproofiness I've panic bought a mac in a pac as well. Also did a grocery order for the day we leave of booze, bacon and sweets to pack in the van ready to go.

I've now recharged my lantern, and also ordered a 48 pack mixed box of scampi and bacon fries.  Giveen it's now only 13 days till I'm on site, I should probably have done quite a bit more!

not really done anything to get ready - sort of the opposite in fact... i seem to have entered that stage before the festival where i can't think about or concentrate on anything except the festival!

 

i did, quite literally, f**k all work yesterday.

 

a couple years back it was so bad that the last few days before the festival were horrible as i'd done so little work for the previous two weeks i had a stupid amount that i had to get done before i could even think about going anywhere...

 

can't let it get to that point again!

 

so i guess maybe i should get cracking instead of sitting here writing this....

(yeah... we'll see how that goes... 😀)

Same.  Was WFH and must have done 2 hours actual work, tops.  I've got sh*t loads to get finished before I go to Glasto but just Can. Not. Be. Arsed.  My brain just can't think about anything else now.

Not sure if this is the right thread to ask this so apologies but it does fit into what one of our party has done to get ready for Glasto.
 

Has anyone ever had any issues getting in as they look a little different to the photo on their ticket? One of our party has now shaved their head and bleached it meaning they look pretty different from the semi-long and brown haired person currently on the ticket.

 

I look very similar to my ticket photo but last year the person at the gate seemed to check it for an age. Just wondering if anyone had a similar experience of looking quite different to how you look on your ticket? 
 

Aside from that minor worry I’ve most things but a sturdy trolley

My previous photo was me clean shaven and without specs.  I now wear glass, have a bushy beard and have gone almost completely grey!  Never had any issues.  I'd probably take additional photo ID to be sure - drivers license maybe?

My husband had to get his driving license out to prove it was him against his ticket. His grey had really kicked in between the photo submission and the festival. He hasn't updated his yet either.

Just make sure they bring a few forms of ID and they'll be fine

2022, my friend and I had been enjoying some lovely Aeropress coffee each morning until saturday when we stripped the threading on his Jetboil gas connector and coffees were no more.. a sad morning. 

 

Going cold brew coffee this year made ahead of time and bottled ready to go

Oh god, that sounds traumatic. I've got a Domectic/Cadac and also friends with a jetboil, so fingers crossed we should be ok. Cold brew ain't a bad shout either. Might rotate between the two.

Felt a bit wiped out yesterday evening after a blood donation, so treated myself to a very early night. Tucked up and watched the Glastonbury Man documentary from 2000, featuring a very young Emily just starting to step in. So interesting watching how she felt about getting involved as to now, especially when you watch the Sidetracked ep straight after!

Popped into Lidl to scope their alcohol selection... not sure of it's cheaper than anywhere else?

Bought 16 cans (mix) of Brewdog last week for £17 (330ml) from Morrisons. Not sure if this is as good as I'm going to get it?
