Dales
What is it that has got eveyone booking Kneecap in big slots? Very poor lineup.
Long Season
Can't justify a ticket/travel/accomodation for that line up. Last year was great, helped by a stacked line up, but can't justify an expensive weekend in London just for Martin Rev and WITCH. Not a patch on last year Edited November 7 by Long Season

Kneecap will sell out the entire festival on their own. That’s why.

Lucky Wide Awake, that will be the first time they will not have to do cheap and free tickets. Are they really that popular? I really don't know as they don't seem my sort of thing. Will try to make sure I get down early to Fontaines at Finsbury Park next year to see what they are like. Still look like a very weak headliner to me. Mcbatesman
Will kneecap sell it out though? I think people are overestimating the actual popularity, they aren't even the main support for the Fontaines show
pedrogooch
Not likely, but they'll be popular and attract some new faces. Only issue is they'll probably but a few folks off if the undercard isn't a little more traditionally Wide Awake. They could probably sell out Brixton Academy now by themselves, which about tallies with previous headliners.
Field Commander Jefferson
Odd line up. The sort of 2nd wave artists that are announced nearer a festival
