Won't be able to resale it for us, between the group we have 2 kids and one autistic so are very reliant on specific accommodation which I guess won't be available that late

Its a stupid system.  I dont see why they dont just get all the ticket requests and then pick some at random.  The only reason for doing it this way is to generate hype

Ive got a ticket and was trying for others today.

In after 5mins but won't take payment.

My credit card showing 4 attempts of £1.

2 years in a row the same issue.

Cos then about 5 million people will join the lottery, on the off chance they get a ticket. This way at least rewards persistence, even if most people still end up disappointed

Some people argue that a lottery system would reduce their chances, but I think it's got sooooo difficult to get tickets now that a 1 in 10 chance of a ticket with a true lottery system sounds like a cracking idea right now!

The problem is that this system massively favours big groups. 30 people trying for 30 people have 15 times as much chance as getting a ticket as 2 people trying for 2.

A bit of a catastrophe here. We just got the holding page but a friend of ours got through. However my wife's postcode was rejected despite her having a registration lookup confirming that postcode a week or so ago. 

Did anyone else have this issue?

Managed to get 5 tickets at 9:56, first time attempting with auto-refreshers

Using separate 7 different IPs:

• 5 using auto-refreshers (4 on Chrome, 1 on Firefox) with varying refresh rates between 1.1 - 2 seconds
• One device manually refreshing on iPhone (Safari), probably around 30 refreshes a minute
• One manually refreshing on Android (Chrome), similar to above

It was the Safari device which got us through

Well, if we believe the festival statement they said they rearranged so more people could re-register etc (despite them having received multiple emails asking you to check your details etc). Logic would suggest more people signed up or re-registered and therefore would be trying today?

Yeah I agree, prefer to have at least some agency in it, frustrating as it is.

First 'no' for me / us in years, was always going to happen at some point.

Got the reg page about a minute in but it hung, and hung, and no 'back', then refresh would resurrect the session, sadly.

Keeping an eye on the page as people on here claimed they got tickets around this time last year… Doubt it will happen but you never know.

There is no system that will make people happy when demand so hugely outstrips supply.

Second year failed to get anywhere, let alone tickets. Resale time (along with possibly, cider, chocolate and whatever other competitions there are.)
