Registration cancelled despite reconfirming

Hiya, double check your emails. I reconfirmed my registration details twice ( just to make sure) but just had an email from See to say my registration details have been deleted so need to re register. Glad I saw it!

Hmmm...just checked and my registration is still showing as a live one.  Will need to look into this further

It's a bit of a scary e-mail. I've received it too, but I think it's a general e-mail that has gone to anyone whose e-mail is registered.

Also received but only on the email address id chosen not to reconfirm I had 2 live registrations and id chosen to let one lapse .

Reading it again after the initial panic it does read 'any registrations that have not been reconfirmed'

My suspicion is that many of the people receiving this will have had more than one registration, and so it's not their "live" registration that has been deleted.

Maybe attached to an old email address that forwards to their current one for example, so you don't see it when you do a look up. I'd suggest double checking what address this has been sent to.

The email is titled "Notification of Registration Deletion". But actually, it seems like it's just a general email to everyone with a pre 2020 registration, whether you reconfirmed or not.

The subject line of the email is not very well thought out here. I assume it is going to create a bit of a nightmare for them as they deal with thousands of unnecessary new registrations/email support tickets off the back of this.

It certainly put the fear in me until I checked online!

I thought I'd confirmed mine but got that and checked and it is gone. Not intending to go this year anyway so not a problem (and may not have been so careful when confirming as I might otherwise have been).

I had 2 registrations to two different email addresses. I got this email to the email account associated with the registration that I did not confirm. The email address of the confirmed registration did not receive this email.

I had this but it was sent to a different email address. Checked with my original one and its fine

Pretty sure I don't have any other old registrations on this email address but could be mistaken. Will go through the archives!

Its very confusing as it wasn't exactly clear what you were supposed to do in the first place to re confirm! 

Used the checker and it still comes up with reg details so hopefully ok

Didn't receive the email so it can't be a general one. That said this post did prompt me check our registrations we still valid.

It told you how to find your registrations, how to go in and how to confirm it.

Our group haven't had an email.

Well I just checked again for the second time after receiving the email and now get a different message saying reg is valid so seems all ok. 

 

"The following registrations are valid to buy tickets when they go on sale:"

I didn't get one definitely not a general email.

They really couldn't have made it any easier if they tried.

All a bit strange if it isn't a general email. I went through the registration checker, confirmed wanted to keep all of our registrations. Received the email, checked again and all registrations present and correct.

i've just had my confirmation email come thru, looks like they took a while to send.

My girlfriend got the email too saying her registration has been deleted, despite confirming her details. When she checks it though it still says she’s registered to buy tickets. Are we just disregarding the email?
