Green Day are doing Download and they have paid a lot for exclusivity. It was also announced this week that they are headlining Tinderbox on the Saturday of Glastonbury weekend and they are already booked to headline Tons of Rock on the Thursday and a show in Luxemburg on the Monday. They haven't done three shows in a row since pre Covid. Not happening. Edited 2 hours ago by RedJosh

Yeah - I'm aware of the main reasons for them being discounted (albeit not the 'paid a lot for exclusivity' element). Just spitballin' other potential names in the frame. Too soon for the former; doubt Damon would want a repeat of the latter.

As a sequence, it all sounded like fun.

But yeah, it's gone in the bin now.

Had Mark Thomas doing a set about his book walking the Israel-Palestine barrier in the morning too followed by Daniel Sloss and Tom Stade. Come to think of it, that was a brilliant day. But the public falling out after they finished their co-tours in 2010 hints good mates isn't quite the phrase to use anymore.
