Like I said... Hozier did Finsbury park. The logic is fuzzy.  Not to mention the Geordie thing with St.James'

Anyway lets not keep going on...  I just dont think hes quite headliner material yet thats all im saying. I love him but that's just my opinion.

It's the two-album catalogue, perhaps - which is weird, because plenty of pop acts have been clearly a fine shout after two albums. Nobody would have batted an eyelid on Born This Way-era Gaga, for example.

I agree, I think as we get less and less older acts around or doing their own thing bands like Muse become the legacy/nostalgia bookings and a band for the younger folk to tick of the list.

Book Muse for the legend spot. Minimises the risk of Rod Stewart turning up, and means none of the headline spots are wasted on weird middle-aged conspiracy theorists. Everybody wins.

Oh please no. I consider myself a fan, but I'd rather see a new act headline or someone who hasn't done it in the past 15 years. And a Drones anniversary... that's probably my least favourite album. 😂

 

Just give them the surprise act slot, so they can use it to announce their BHAR 20th anniversary shows for 2026. 😋

So realistically, no one has anything solid atm, its just people hyping up who they want to headline. Nothing wrong with that.

What would be your dream 3 headlines for this year?

Personally I'd love to see 1975/Fender/Rodrigo. 

Anyone who thinks 1975 aren't big enough to headline are completely ignoring the objective facts in favour of their personal opinion, and they would absolutely smash it as a band who know full well the importance of being an excellent live band.

 

Fender/Rodrigo feels really fresh and exciting to me, I personally don't care if there isn't a huge/legacy name as one of the top 3 and I'd be there for all 3 headliners.

 

Having said that, I'd love if Muse headlined so I'd get a night off seeing one of the Pyramid headliners.

Fleetwood Mac with Lindsey, Taylor Swift playing Folklore in full, and Stevie Wonder. So if we got one out of three that’d be pretty good going.

Have to agree about 1975 I'd rather them not headline but they are headline level objectively.

Friday - A Sabrina Carpenter, Olivia Rodrigo, Chappell Roan colab set

 

Saturday - The full Hamilton Soundtrack being covered by various world famous artists

 

Sunday - A 3 hour Taylor Swift set playing only tracks which wern't on the Eras tour (can get around All too Well by playing the 5 minute version)

I agree that Sam Fender not quite headliner material yet. I think this is emphasised because he’s such a great booking as pyramid sub. Arguably gets a bigger crowd as sub and would be great in the sunshine. Yeah he was bumped up in 2022 but would anyone really not wanna see him there again? 
 

With that being said, we’ve had plenty of headliners of late who were in a similar category. Any 2 of O Rod, Fender, 75 is ‘fine’. But not all 3 please. Fender as sub for stevie would be brilliant

Especially if they turned down Download. 

Would have to be a big reason to turn it down…..
