Only thing tripping it up is that ORod generally (possibly never?) does three days in a row which she’d be doing here, so I dunno, maybe there’s been crossed wires somewhere, but the info thus far has specifically been Neil Saturday, ORod/Chappell Sunday.

Well its more that we had Olivia pretty much locked in for Saturday til just now. Thats what gets me. Even Billie when she did 22 had a big run of shows on either side and still managed a day off. But I will assume because she has so many days off leading up since Pinkpop is the 21st, Ireland the 24th and Bst the 27, that she is comfortable at doing it because after that its only 2 gigs a few days later after the 3 in a row  and then 5 days off and a week off. Its not a lot of shows but theyre spread out. 
 

So now theres gonna be this interesting flux of people camped out for Chappell and O Ros on Sunday and theyre gonna be surrounded people who wanna see Rod and Nile. Thats kind of the other contrast you look at. Like lets say Sabrina subs Neil? Wtf is that. Or she is under The 1975 which is the only sensible move here. Is the surprise Oasis set before Neil then so you kinda make sure he keeps a crowd and not everyone rams it for Charli?

Think the best guess is that ORod was originally pencilled in for the Saturday which would line up with her dates either side but they’ve had to move things around, possibly to accommodate the third headliner being a late addition (Neil, or whoever it ends up being).

Has there been any mention of a surprise oasis set? I'm assuming that is satire rather than any rumour to back that up?

She's subbing R&L, and we've had acts in the exact same position before (including recently).

Yeah fair enough, would be a great booking. Was potentially thinking of R&L because of Chappell so might hold off if that’s the case.

It's marketing of course but she's a headliner in R&L terms but yes I imagine she will play before Hozier. Same as their 6 headliner thing from the last few years, essentially 3 heads and 3 subs but they still call it 6 headliners.

 

Semantics anyway, I don't care about R&L but if she plays Glasto I will be ecstatic. Lineup is shaping up to be an all timer.

I hope so! i'm thinking it'll be either Sabrina or Chappell but not both surely?? if it is then Emily has done very well with sub bookings this year.

Itd be a bit sh*tty of Oasis to announce a reunion, sell a billion tickets for it, explicitly say theyre not doing festivals, and then their first set together being on a televised festival stage. with a crowd that would be at best 50% thrilled, and 50% walking off to see something else. Cant see it, it knacks up their own gigs.

Hopefully. I'm in Thailand during Leeds fest and was gutted that i'd have to miss her. I imagine she will be even more popular by June, unless she keeps pissing off her fans.
