Cant see it, it knacks up their own gigs. And they are clearly doing the reunion for monetary reasons and Glastonbury would pay them f**k all
NorthernSoul52
They might do the G in 2027 if the reunion lasts long enough. But not this time.

NorthernSoul52
Yeah, I cannot imagine it runs beyond 2026. Still not fully convinced they'll even do that, which would leave mainland Europe in the lurch. My head tells me it's stadiums in Europe along with some big '26 UK gigs - likely Knebworth or the ilk. Then, curtains. (Until the next time.)
across97
Carpenter at BST then, means she'll be this side of the pond near Glasto. I imagine she's very likely appear over the weekend. Placement will be interesting, 2 people playing BST this year, one will headline and other wont... Providing O-Rod info is true.

Same as their 6 headliner thing from the last few years, essentially 3 heads and 3 subs but they still call it 6 headliners. Semantics anyway, I don't care about R&L but if she plays Glasto I will be ecstatic. Lineup is shaping up to be an all timer. For it to be an all-timer , your headliners need to be on point. The 1975, O-Rod and Neil Young are not on point as a collective (or individually) for that that matter.

Acid_Haze
Not to burst the whole Chappell Roan bubble but in the past 10 year only 1 Pyramid sub has played Reading & Leeds in the same year. Not to say it's not possible, just not likely. On the other hand multiple Other stage headliners have played Reading & Leeds in the same year. Makes me think she could be up against Neil Young while Charli XCX subs The 1975.

Don't think that that historic placements of that nature really matter - ultimately, if the R&L contract also allows the act to play Glastonbury, then it's up to Glastonbury to decide where they best fit. I spent most of my time in Avalon and Acoustic last year... and thankfully still had a wonderful time! Ideally I always like to see one Pyramid Headliner, but all the rumours so far suggest that for a second year running I probably won't be! It almost seems too obvious for her to sub O-Rod that I think Glastonbury purposely wouldn't do it cause they don't want people just staying in the same place on Sunday. Chappell info was specifically for before O Rod. Imo Chappell makes more sense for sub than other headline as she only has one album. But nothing confirmed anyway and days and positions do tend to move about even after acts have confirmed.
