Fontaines, While she Sleeps, Simple Minds and Girl in Red, all seem ok and I would go and see but only if there isn't a better act on for me.
Amy, Wet Leg, Lola, and RAYE all seem to be this new breed of singers who don't sing and just talk, which I don't like.
Elbow are ok, but too slow and chill music for a festival. Noah is dogshit, he was support for Dermot Kennedy and was terrible. Beth Gibbons, is terrible (to be fair I only listened to one song and switched it off after a minute).
Barry, RUFUS and Overmono all seem to be DJ acts, which isn't my cup of tea.
So, the release of names, instead of enticing me in, it has only pushed me further away.
I need 8 or 9 acts who I would pay to see, and at the moment, there's only 3, with GreenDay, LP and Sam Fender.
I don't think that Biffy Clyro ever headlined a festival anywhere outside the UK. Worldwide, they're smaller than Fontaines and St Vincent.
To be honest I don't understand why such a lot of festival goers are so much concernend about who is headlining and who's not, especially indie festivals like INmusic.
Personally I'd be ways happier if they'd book 15 cool Fontaines-sized bands instead of a big headliner, but let's wait. I think a not yet announced one could be coming.
I was given a normal receipt and a separate receipt which said I had been entered into the competition.
No cheese in my local Co Op today so don't know if it is different this year
Make sure they have ample medication if they take any, along with copy of prescription if needed. Maybe ibuprofen gel for aches and pains for standing/walking all day and make sure boots are well worn in. I am not 70 yet but sometimes my body feels like it.
