My nan smoked until she was 64 when my grandad died. She said it was too expensive for her then. She lived at home on her own until she was 96.
I would imagine many of these vapes are weed vapes. Better a whiff of custard air than a plumes of skunk smoke.
Mum and dad both smoked (Auld man had a lung out in his 50's and died relatively young) Me and my sister hated it and don't smoke. I think the level of ban is spot on now.
I would really disagree with the point republicans have always relied on stupid voters. There are plenty of stupid on each side, plus calling one side stupid is not the way to win them back. Some voters have voted Obama, Trump and Biden, I don’t see why they are lost forever. I don’t agree with the point about loyalty, there are people willing t switch and winning their votes will continue to win elections.
Now how to win them back is the more complex issue, the reality is you may not have to do anything other than look sensible and competent as Labour found this year. To me there are many answers, to me Kamala was just too “establishment” for this election and I’m not convinced a load of rich celebrity endorsements are always helpful. At the same time anti establishment doesn’t mean going left and focusing on defund the police, Gaza, Green New Deal etc. You need a left/centre left message that resonates on core issues, economy, housing, education and health.
I can't help being a bit surprised when someone with one LP is headlining events like this. I mean I'm always keen to discover new bands but usually not when there is such "hype".
