Not a chance, Slam Dunk have booked per what that festival is actually there for. It's borderline worth the price but so is everything these days. The social media reaction has been great too.

I'm surprised with that from you. I would have thought the bigger bands there given what I've seen you like would be ace. I would say its better than 2017, 18 and definition 2024 edition easily. 2019 I would say is the lineup since 2016 which I was say was clear of it.

I think they are the definition of when Download call themselves the 'Premier Rock Festival' yet target mostly metal of some sort. Terrible band for me.

There’s only 9 bands I want to see and I know at least 3 of those will clash as they’re likely stage headliners:

ADTR
Electric Callboy
Finch
Alkaline Trio
Neck Deep
Knuckle Puck
New Found Glory
Stray From That Path
Split Chain

Out of those, the biggest must see is Knuckle Puck because they’re doing Copacetic. ADTR are always a must for me as well because I always have a great time. The rest, I wouldn’t exactly be gutted if I couldn’t see them. Callboy is a big one but they’re going to clash with ADTR probably.

Your going to be able to see at most 3 of ADTR, Alkaline Trio, Electric Call Boy, Less Than Jake, Neck Deep, New Found Glory, Stray from the Path and The Used - which are the big acts.

There are some decent things lower down, but for £150 it is a joke.

Watched Callboy’s set at Rock am Ring today, they’re my must see if I go.

Given Yungblud's last tour sold reasonably well in arenas, as did his festival at MK Bowl this year I can't see him taking second stage headliner at DL.

I can see him giving it a break, and trying to push for R&L headliner with a new album cycle in a year or two. Controversial opinion I'm sure.

He isn’t headlining second in my lineup; he’s main support to Green Day on the Main Stage, which I’m sure he would jump at the chance to do.

I think he’ll be one of the 6 headliners at R&L sooner rather than later too, for what it’s worth.

That's fair, I misread - it's too late for me!!

In that case, I'm sure he would take the sub to Green Day, not a bad shout in all honesty.

Again I guess it's taste, I would only see 3 of those as must catch.

£150 is yes but it think I'll get ADTR, NFG and LTJ from that. I don't care to miss Alkaline, Neck Deep, The Used or Stray from the Path as they aren't who I'm going for.

2019 was so stacked. What a year! Knocked Loose and Turnstile back to back in a tent was lunacy.

I guess the differences are mad, I didn't even look at 2019 with them two entering my head but they are too heavy and not my scene. I'm very very pop punk/rock.

They aren't on my list haha

I don't think he's going to be Green Day support but wouldn't rule it out. For what it's worth, someone has name dropped Weezer as playing Download today as well. I've no idea how true it is.

I think you will probably get to see 2 of those 3, but if you are happy with that and who else is down then go for it. It's all subjective at the end of the day. I don't think it's worth it and as we are doing Rock AM Ring and Download over successive weekends it makes me want to go less.

When I've paid less than £200 on Rock AM Ring for the line up they have, £255 for Download and £175 for Bloodstock - I don't think it is anywhere near value for money compared to what I will be getting at those 3. Plus, we will probably end up doing the Friday at Trees for Coheed plus maybe a day or two at R+L and/or RADAR depending on what they have.

I think LTJ will play 3rd down the main stage before NFG personally as I just cannot see those two clashing at all. If they don't I think it'll be 3rd down a different stage. I wouldn't however rule out LTJ clashing with ADTR but they've not headlined the Ska stage at the size it is now, nor played higher than 3rd and I don't see that changing whereas NFG are going to sub one of the headliners. Alkaline Trio taking The Interuppters spot is the ultimate ask.

RAR is good value for money, that being said, if I lived there I would probably only get a Friday day ticket.

RAR is going to cost £255 with camping. Download is £300+ I'm basing all this on not being before you know anything as we can all do that for anything. How they can change £45 parking for a weekend and just one day is beyond me. Bloodstock for me isn't worth anything but it's just not for me, my heavier music taste doesn't stretch that far at all. You've probably got Lacuna Coul and Creeper max there and I'd only really bother on the former. I'm kinda with things falling in Werchter now for a European option.
