justanothername
Turnstile are a Primavera Porto which is the same weekend as Download/Outbreak. If they're doing both the London and Manchester date of Outbreak (which looks likely) then they're 100% ruled out for Download.

But, they could do Primavera on the 12th, Outbreak 13th and 14th and Download on the 15th, so it doesn’t 100% rule them out.

It wasn't just that he wasn't prosecuted, the police investigations found no evidence and in fact the Lithuanian one basically said that the accuser was outright lying. That was backed up by witness accounts, she claimed she was sober and was drugged yet all the witnesses say she was drinking tonnes and got wasted before she even got to the concert. The German investigation found literally nothing either, the wannabe social media influencers who were posting stuff were unable to provide a single shred of evidence when questioned. Last time I checked his lawyers were also in the process of suing various media outlets for printing false accusations with no evidence to back them up.

Gejonimo
I feel like the disappointing band will be one that Green Day request. I'm thinking Nothing But Thieves third, All Time Low subbing or Machine Gun Kelly subbing. My gut tells me it's less the band, and more the placing of them. MGK would be very interesting, if they really do want to broaden the festival genre MGK would help cater to those who aren’t into metal. I’d definitely be up for it. He would get some stick though let’s face it, if he’s thought of as a poser in the pop punk crowd he’s got no business playing download. Oof, I’d say they’re far more interesting than Royal Blood and better live as well. I’d be happy with them under Green Day but think they’re a little too indie rock for Download. I’ve seen NBT six times, all at festivals. Sets 1-5 I thought they were boring but at Leeds 2023 when they opened with Welcome to the DCC they suddenly had me hooked 😂
