SirPsychoSexy
The card for next years Download is stacked, the organisers have done a great job, 3 headline acts all offering something different. Sleep Token I am most looking forward to personally, they are more than deserving & it’s such a positive move for Download to book a British band who are relatively new to the scene. Their rise has been astronomical, & I predict way more to come from them in terms of musical output.
TWY2911
Weird how the online reaction to the lineup has been quite critical yet everyone I've spoke to in real life really like it

Do we know of the Yorkshire pudding place got banned from R&L because of this or did they just not bother? I remember there were rumours of food poisoning and all sorts. Yeah though if you looped all the way round and up the slope from Avalanche it was quieter, but I saw the Ghost and Skindred crowds were huge 2 minutes ago, andyrhodes24 said: Do we know of the Yorkshire pudding place got banned from R&L because of this or did they just not bother? Shame because I've eaten from them in the past and been fine
Andre91
I was at Slam Dunk 2023 when people were complaining about queuing for 5 hours for food. If you’re stupid enough to stand around for that long, more fool you. Wait a bit until it dies down or push your way to the front. Queuing is a courtesy, not a requirement. If I’m hungry, I bothered about my stomach, not anyone else’s.

A few tempted obvs but most I've spoke to/seen online aren't though I think the price is a big factor.
NorthernSoul52
Price remains the stumbling block. A hard, hard sell sometimes for the neutrals, though Green Day will definitely help juice there. Know plenty keen because of that.

Common courtesy isn’t a weakness mate
Siddey1994
Tell you what, try pushing in front of ≈200 people and let us know how that goes down both with the crowd and the vendor 😂

It's not the ticket price, as we all know how much food and drink costs there too.

Pushed the front when MCR played MK and I bought the guy in front of me a beer. Happy days. Edited 2 hours ago by Andre91

This is very different from shoving in front of a 2+ hour queue for food where there are no doubt countless others who are starving. Could understand if you were a diabetic/had young children but this is just being a selfish prick. Edited 2 hours ago by Siddey1994

Given they sold out stadium dates in London, Manchester and Glasgow, you'd assume that they'll bring a few day-trippers in by default. Friday will probably sell out nigh instantaneously regardless of who’s on the undercard that day - but how likely is a weekend sellout this time? I was legitimately surprised this year sold out, and that’s as someone who loved the lineup. Edited just now by Siddey1994
