If Bad Omens don’t play this year, I’m sure they will return as a headliner next time.

I think they are one of the next bands to get the bump, they would probably sell nearly as much tickets as sleep token if they did an arena tour here.

Are they really getting that big? I know they have alot of Gen Z fans but I barely see them mentioned by older generations (I know my millennial brother is a fan but he works with alot of Gen Z and they play music at work). I wouldn't have thought them near Sleep Token level yet.

Yeah they are. At the BMTH I’d argue the fans went harder for bad omens than they did BMTH (now I’m not saying they are as bigger or bigger than BMTH).

their monthly listeners from the uk are near the same as Sleep Token.

i think if they were booked right now, they would be a big sub (they are bigger than architects etc) but if they have another successful album than yeah headline or nothing I think.

That's surprises me tbh as I don't really see them mentioned in my peer group. But I get it's a sign of the changing times. There's probably a load of metal bands me and my peer group listen to alot that the average Bad Omens fan has never heard so it works both ways and modern metalcore is deffo the in thing right now.

Bad Omens still need that commercial crossover here as a touring artist though. I know there was a lot of hype for them being on the BMTH tour, and I do concur they likely helped those very fast sell-outs, but let's get them on the circuit by their own again first.

Bad Omens will do a Sleep Token.

Yeah exactly this, I expect a UK arena tour this year if they aren’t doing festivals. I imagine they will play the o2 arena or Wembley arena atleast and see how quick tickets fly. I have no doubt they could at least sell one date at the o2.

or a couple of nights at Wembley arena.
And then DL Headliner for 2026 or 2027 (probably the latter)

I think they’ll do a full huge arena run like Sleep Token, with two nights at the 02.

Yeah it’s a shame

holy hell was such a good album and I really liked FTWWTE as well

The run from LF//LT to Holy Hell was so great. I even dug FTTWTE but they’ve just been rehashing that album’s sound since with diminishing returns. Really similar to what WSS did after You Are We. And what Bury Tomorrow did after Black Flame. There’s a pattern here…

I feel like Architects absolutely managed to tank their momentum with that last record.

I know they headlined Bloodstock and played high up other festival lineups…but I can’t see them getting any bigger now.

Going out to support Biffy in a lot of the same venues they headlined 6 months earlier didn’t do them any favours. Nor did their flat set at Download which did nothing to suggest they could ever step up to a headline slot. Also heard from several people that their Bloodstock set just seemed like any other set and they didn’t do much to make their first headline slot at a festival here feel special.

I think they’ve peaked too.

Bloodstock was a dud. It didn’t feel special and Malevolence utterly f**ked them off the stage.

Two of my mates saw them at Graspop and Download, both are big architects fans…both said they flopped it big time.

A massive shame. Totally on the cusp and just couldn’t quite get there.
