Coachella 2006 was crazy, imagine having Madonna & Daft Punk both on a lineup not headlining, as well as Tool and Depeche Mode.

NorthernSoul52
It is quite the niche crossover in the current Coachella era. But if anything, suggests how good a booking it is for Download.

I don't think it does really, they are doing a lot of festivals they would usually get booked for in that period over here anyway, Download just luckily got them this time. Weezer makes the difference but Coachella haven't waited as long for Weezer at Download or any other British place have.
NorthernSoul52
How do Weezer factor into Green Day being a good booking for both Coachella and Download?
Andre91
I’ve listened to the Poppy album 2-3 times a day since Saturday. I absolutely love it. It’s SO good.
TWY2911
Does Meshuggah getting moved up to a logo band possibly mean they thought they had a band for third down on main Sunday to announce in the second wave but they dropped out so they've bumped Meshuggah up? It could mean that but I assume that the three third down bands are Jimmy Eat World, Don Broco and Spiritbox so I think it could likely mean they’ve put them subbing Second on one of the days. Andre91
I’ve added some bands in with an asterisk next to them: APEX: Green Day / Weezer / Jimmy Eat World / Yellowcard* / Boston Manor / The Warning* / Yours Truly* OPUS: Within Temptation / Meshuggah / Jerry Cantrell AVALANCHE: Lorna Shore (or Bury Tomorrow*) DOGTOOTH: SikTh / Fit For An Autopsy APEX: Sleep Token / Falling In Reverse* / Don Broco / Poppy / Knocked Loose* / Loathe / SiM / Static Dress OPUS: Sex Pistols / The Darkness / Eagles of Death Metal AVALANCHE: McFly / Mallory Knox DOGTOOTH: Cradle of Filth / Whitechapel APEX: KoRn / Bullet For My Valentine / Spiritbox / Jinjer / Malevolence* / Bleed From Within / Orbit Culture / Make Them Suffer* OPUS: Steel Panther / Til Lindemann* / Airbourne AVALANCHE: letlive. / Me First and The Gimme Gimmes DOGTOOTH: Apocalyptica / Kittie My thinking behind Lorna Shore headlining the Avalanche is that they’re a proper buzzy band who have a lot of crossover with the metalcore crowd that is usually catered for quite well on that stage. Or they’ve just put them as a logo band for now as they were the biggest none logo band on the original poster and their manager didn’t like it. 23 & 24 had a few logo bands that dropped down when the full poster came out, can see it being the same here. NorthernSoul52
It's shaping up quite nicely on the undercard. Plenty to enjoy.

Yeah I agree, they’re certainly bigger than Sikth, Cradle of Filth, Lorna Shora, etc. That’s why I think it could be that their management have seen the poster and requested a logo. I’d suspect they’re fourth on the main stage and adding the logo hasn’t changed their placement. The bands playing fourth on main are generally bigger than the bands headlining the fourth stage, but don’t traditionally have logos, at least on the full lineup posters. Baby Metal and Bowling for Soup both had logos on the first announcement for 24, but then not on the full lineup.

Chavmeisterdeluxe
The logo band thing is stupid anyway, a few bands in the 2nd section are bigger than the 4th stage headliners
