My chemical romance but a post on instagram. If you turn it sideways it reads down UK so that could be a big hint they are headlining next year

I think it’s teasing a 2025 US tour early summer then potentially EU tour late summer. They’ll be at R&L next year not Download (if they appear at a UK festival, that is).

No it doesn't. The K would already need to be rotated 90 degrees anticlockwise to do that.

It appears to be hinting at The Paper Kingdom.

Just get tickets from Twickets, got mine half the price for this years festival, car parking too.

I got a 5 day Download ticket for 2023 for £180/190 with a week to go. I think I had to pay parking on the day from what I remember so cost about £210/220 in all.

Binned of Download early summer and then agreed to do Reading. Not the first time I don't think they've binned of Download.

Why don't they do it until 9pm? Is it basically because it's 1pm which is prime in Cali?

We arent that special. And "prime time" is 10am PST. 99% of announcements happen at that hour over here. So a 1pm announce would be very odd.

Muse playing Tons of Rock in Norway goes against the info that they turned Download down because they weren’t touring.

Anyone remember who gave this info? I swear this year has been a bigger game of “he said she said” than any previous year 😅

Either way it’s nice to see Muse doing something next year, even if it’s in no way indicative of a download appearance.

I agree & I can’t remember who said it either, but I’m sure the story was Muse were asked and said they weren’t touring  😅

If Muse are doing a Euro festival run I wonder where they will play in the UK, possibly BST/Lytham?

I'm fairly sure it was Red Josh. Could be a case of them not wanting to start until the end of June though but that's still quite a miss that could have seen Korn under ST. I don't think Muse for Download mind you is a great option. I think of Muse selling out dates and tours and although no one at Download often does that, Muse do often do this.

Any more or just them? Kinda expecting them weren’t we. Wonder where they’ll be. Anything from sub to 4th down I’d imagine.

Just them at present. I think they could sub Green Day.

Yeah, I think Frank Carter and the Sex Pistols as subs could have been what @Judas Yeast was referring to yesterday about the booking which might get backlash. I’m intrigued by it though, probably be one tour and done so I wouldn’t mind seeing them

They can sub based on the name alone

1) they do not have enough material to fill a sub slot unless there’s a bunch of joking around/covers. The band’s entire studio discography clocks in about 40 minutes.

2) I specifically asked Andre because in all of his previous lineup predictions, SP have been at least 3rd down on main, I’m just wondering what’s changed beyond just having it confirmed they’re there.

The shows they did were around the 1 HR 15 min mark
