Do we think there’s an obvious sub missing? Seems odd the way they’ve laid out the poster with Weezer and Bullet getting the top billing over the other logo bands if another one of them is subbing no?

one would hope slayer would help bump the card up a notch

Falling In Reverse still have some tickets to sell for their O2 show next month. I think they will sub Sleep Token.

Someone over the other side thinks Bad Omens are taking that spot with FIR on second and Dream Theatre second headline Korn day. But that's a pinch of salt thing.

Would all be good bookings.

I only think we’ve got one Second Stage headliner in the Sex Pistols. I think Within Temptation, The Darkness and Steel Panther are subs for that stage.

Also think we’ve only got McFly as an Avalanche headliner with two more to come.

Cradle of Filth and SikTh as Dogtooth headliners with one more to come is my thinking too.

Slayer or Megadeth ideally but will probably end up being Falling In Reverse.

I don't see Steel Panther dropping to sub after the crowd they got last time

How is £600 being spent.

£300 weekend ticket and £300 campervan ticket. The van ticket price is the reason I'm not going, they've loaded it last couple of years beyond belief and given us worse facilities and provision. You can only vote with your wallet and feet and so I have. I'm not sure Download will miss me. :)

I think you've got two in Pistols and Spiritbox with one to come. Meaning Weezer clashing with Pistols.

I reckon 3rd down is JEW, Steel Panther and MM to come under Bullet. Don Broco, Within Temptation and The Darkness 4th down.

Green Day

Weezer

JEW

Don Broco

Sex Pistols

ST

? Bad Omens

Steel Panther

Within Temptation

Spiritbox

Korn

Bullet

MM

The Darkness

FIR

Don't blame you, not a chance at £300.

Spiritbox are on MainStage

Do you know that for sure? If so I'd swap then for Steel Panther.

Based on the lineup I put I'd probably just do a weekend as pointless travelling for Friday and Sunday but we'll see. I don't be paying the full off ticket price though, I can't see a problem grabbing a ticket for this later cheaper.

WT subbing second again so soon would be very lazy. 4 more bands expected for main stage. 2 lower, 2 higher? Bad Omens and MM higher. 2 bands for second head and sub. Expecting FIR there.

The Download website has a locations page within the line-up page and says who is on what stage. No days given.

Ah I wasn't aware.

I expected The Dogtooth to not be for me though Avalanche looks a bit dead, just two on there.

Go to the stages section of the lineup and it says what bands are on what stage

Sex Pistols are a second stage headliner and Steel Panther more than likely are too. Like the lineup more more than headliners, Friday is the best day by a country mile.

There's about 12 acts on there that I like.

And I'll wait until the New Year before I start trawling through the "no logo" bands and pass my judgement upon them.

So despite the announcement not being particularly inspiring, I'd say it just about covers the ticket cost for me.

Let's hope there's some sweetmeat in the following announcements.

Judging currently by what's been put with The Darkness it would mean they clash with Weezer. Not a clash I'd like but understandably I don't think there would be loads of crossover. Their gig in leic with Ash currently where the money is at.

There is reason to leave both MM if he plays and FIR off until the end of January/Feb. One their tour will be over and one a kinda similar too to JEW. Could kinda see MM being left back until late March.

1 sub, 1 second and 2 second subs. I wondered if Don Broco were still okay to go 4th down but JEW are 3rd down and Broco have done bigger tours then them. I don't know what would be ruling Deftones out from being added, i did think given they aren't reguslrs it was too soon. I presume if Weezer can announced Peace Hall same day which I actually think is risky then Deftones can. Spritbox 3rd down ST day and MM 3rd down. Bullet day.
