I learned at Glastonbury the difference between a burger and a slider. Seems one is just a wee bit smaller than the other. Or so I was told. Every days a school day.
Block 9 burger place once provided the only food I managed to put inside my body in a 3 day period (go figure) and honestly it was like every foodgroup I could ever want all squeezed into a handily sized bun. Really top notch salad and chutneys.
I know its only a spud but I love the Jacket Potato place by the entrance to the Other Stage. Is it Jacket and Jills? I think its run by a local school or something.
Another first day tradition is Oli's Halloumi wraps by the Pyramid. They always used to be really good value but the price had gone up quite a bit in 2024 and they no longer do the discount if you buy 2 which is a shame.
New discovery last year was a place around Williams Green/Car Henge area (I think) that did really tasty Poke Bowls.
